Match the rule to the material
EU 10/2011 is relevant for applicable plastic or laminated food-contact layers, while EDQM paper and board guidance belongs in a paper and fiber context. Compostability certification applies only to certified product scopes.
Documentation by product and market
Food-contact, migration, PFAS / total fluorine, heavy metals, REACH, EU POPs and compostability documentation should be prepared according to product structure, target market and customer requirements.
